Instagram DM Chatbot Arriving Soon
One of the most time-consuming parts of running active social media campaigns is responding to all of your direct messages.
Well, Instagram is ready to help you out with a new DM Chatbot feature theyāre currently testingā¦
This is still in the early stages of testing, but it looks like there will be up to 30 different āAI personalitiesā to choose from. And these AI āagentsā can be used to answer questions and give advice.
Itās just the latest wya Meta is incorporating generative AI into its platforms. Theyāve already been working on using AI to create Facebook ads, generate Instagram stickers, and a few other smaller features.
Our Take - Weāll see how the finished product looks, but this could be a HUGE improvement for customer service. Itās impossible to be around 24/7 for your customers (unless you have a full team), and the generative AI tools can be a great solution for smaller customer issues.
