Nano-Influencers Could Revolutionize Your Marketing - If youā€™re looking for a way to reach laser-focused leads, nano-influencers could be your key. With smaller audiences, nano-influencers often provide more targeted audiences at a much lower price. This could be a total game-changer for youā€¦

Google Analytics 4 Offers 6 New Data Points - The better your data, the better your marketing. Google Analytics knows this better than anyone, and theyā€™ve just introduced 6 new dimensions to the platform. These will help you drill down some insanely specific metrics on your audienceā€¦

Youā€™ll Have To Start Labeling Your AI Images - The EU is all-in on the fight against misinformation. The commission is pushing platforms to require watermarks on all AI generated images. Instagram DM Chatbot Arriving Soon

One of the most time-consuming parts of running active social media campaigns is responding to all of your direct messages.

Well, Instagram is ready to help you out with a new DM Chatbot feature theyā€™re currently testingā€¦

This is still in the early stages of testing, but it looks like there will be up to 30 different ā€œAI personalitiesā€ to choose from. And these AI ā€œagentsā€ can be used to answer questions and give advice.

Itā€™s just the latest wya Meta is incorporating generative AI into its platforms. Theyā€™ve already been working on using AI to create Facebook ads, generate Instagram stickers, and a few other smaller features.

Our Take - Weā€™ll see how the finished product looks, but this could be a HUGE improvement for customer service. Itā€™s impossible to be around 24/7 for your customers (unless you have a full team), and the generative AI tools can be a great solution for smaller customer issues.

Weā€™ll keep you posted as we learn more about this feature - but you can check out exactly how it looks below!

Daily Hack - Aggressively Segmenting Your List

Another hack that we donā€™t see enough digital marketers doing is segmenting aggressively with their email lists.

Sure, theyā€™ll do some segmenting based on buyers or non-buyers. But by-and-large, most marketers are not even scratching the surface when it comes to email list segmentation.

Fortunately, email segmentation is our bread and butter.

Most email marketers email their entire list, which means they use messaging and offers that are as broad as possible.

Theyā€™re leaving a lot of sales on the table when they do that.

Think about it ā€“ how much more likely are you to buy when you come across a specific offer that speaks to your needs, versus a more generic offer and message?

Autoresponders let you segment your audience so that you can get hyper-specific with your messaging and offers. It's like personalizing your messages, so they really resonate with the people you're trying to reach.

For example, you can target people whoā€¦

  • Open certain emailsā€¦

  • Click on specific linksā€¦

  • Buy specific offersā€¦

  • Got to the checkout page but didnā€™t buyā€¦

  • Attended events (partially or the entire time)...

  • Opened during a certain time frameā€¦

  • How they found you and how they signed up (ads, organic, sociali media)

You can get super specific with your segments, allowing you to tailor your marketing to what they're most interested in.

Most important - you can send MORE emails to your most active openers.

For instance, we email to our 30 day openers and clickers more frequently than other segments.

These active segments want to hear from you!

Weā€™ve used segmenting for almost 20 years now to increase our open rates, click-through rates, and ultimately, our sales. Thatā€™s why we encourage email marketers to segment aggressively ā€“ itā€™s one of the most powerful tools at your disposal!
