2 Ways to Boost Social Proof (Not Just Reviews)

Everyone looks at reviews before they buy ANYTHING these days. If you don’t have solid reviews, you’re just not going to get any sales. That’s a fact.

But reviews ARE NOT the only type of social proof you should lean in to. In fact, by incorporating more of the following 2 social proof methods into your marketing, you can give your conversions a massive boost.

Start using these ASAP!

#1 - Testimonials

One of the best forms of social proof is 3rd party testimonials. When potential customers see other customers "just like them" getting the results they want to get, this builds massive belief.

Reach out directly to any customers who have purchased before and see if they’ll be willing to help out. You can even offer a discount or another free gift for their help. That can help create even more loyalty.

The key is to make the testimonial exciting.

Don’t just plop it on the page like the boring old testimonials you’re used to seeing in brochures. Turn the testimonial into part of the story of why the audience needs your product. Remember, selling is ALL about emotion.

#2 - Case Studies

Case studies are great tools because they provide a ton of value and actionable information.

They’re also a great way to showcase success stories. Ideally, these success cases have used your method or something you are selling to get where they are today.

Your audience wants to know it’s possible.

These will be longer than testimonials (and definitely longer than reviews), so you want to make sure that the content is strong.

Find someone who has used your product or service to better their lives.

Dig into why they needed your business, and show the transformation you’ve helped this customer achieve.

Like testimonials, you want to weave these case studies into the “story” of why people need your products!
