Trouble for the world’s richest man + biggest social trends of 2023…

Happy Friday! It’s the end of a long week for the world’s richest man, Bernard Arnault. He’s the man behind LVMH, which includes brands like Louis Vuitton, Moet & Chandon, and Dior.
After a report indicated lower demand for luxury goods, LVMH stock dipped 5%. That may not seem like too big a deal, until you realize it wiped away more than $11 billion from his net worth.
We’re sure Bernard will be okay. His net worth is still roughly $191 billion after the dip. Maybe a few glasses of Moet can ease his pain…
Now, here’s your full rundown this Friday morning…

Our Favorite Phrase For 2023: FREE OFFERS
Everything is more expensive in 2023. That’s not news to ANYONE.
When people start spending more on basic necessities like groceries, utilities, rent, and everything else in their day-to-day lives, they cut back their spending elsewhere.
For marketers, this has been an ongoing issue since inflation hit record levels in 2022.
And that’s why offering things to your audience for FREE is more important than ever.
The word "FREE" has a powerful psychological impact on potential customers. Just seeing that word can entice leads that might be sitting on the fence.
Think about your own behaviors.
How many times have you been at the store and eaten something you never would’ve because it was a free sample. There’ve probably been a few times where you ended up buying a box of it because the sample was so good.
As a marketer, always think outside the box to create enticing free offers.
Think about what you can provide for free, whether it's a product trial, a sample, or even limited-time access to your premium content.
You could even extend an invitation for customers to try your course or book for free. This gives you a chance to give them more value, increasing the likelihood that they'll purchase additional products or services from you.
Free offers work particularly well when you have a robust backend.
This gets warm leads into your orbit. From there, you can prime them for more sales down the road.
In our experience, free offers attract new customers and cultivate long-term relationships. That’s why I encourage you to test out different free offers and discover what works best for your business.
