Google's Ad Plans For AI Search, Plus TikTok Ad Secrets

On Tuesday, Google revealed that its ad business keeps booming, growing 11% from last year, most of which comes from search.
However, Google is already beginning to pivot because HUGE changes are coming to search as Google rolls out its “Search Generative Experience.”
According to Google’s CEO, they’re already thinking of creative ways to fill up these AI searches with ads.
Google needs to pull this off since they anticipate that over the next decade, most searches will be done through generative AI and not through the traditional search engine.

Daily Hack - 5 Ways To Boost Your Webinar Show Rates
Many marketers can get large registration numbers for their LIVE webinars, but most of the registrations don’t show up.
There are TWO main reasons why:
The marketers just don’t communicate enough with their registrants…
The marketers don’t use MULTIPLE forms of media to get their reminders out…
Webinar registrants are some of the hottest leads you can get. Just imagine, someone read your message and opted in to attend a LIVE training on the topic. They’ve raised their hands in interest - enough that they were willing to watch a Webinar about it.
Here are 5 different methods to get more people to show up to your Webinars.
#1 - Email Notifications (Hot List)
This is the biggest one. It gets more of our registrants to show up than any other method.
The goal of these emails is to keep people active. The more active they are, the more likely they will attend the webinar.
We like to send emails…
1 per day after they register
2 times a day as we get closer to the webinar
4-5 times the day of the webinar
1 per day during the week after the webinar
#2 - SMS/Text Messaging
When people register for a webinar, we ask them for their cell phone number so that we can text them.
We will text them a couple of times in the week leading up to the webinar, but most of our texts come the day before and the day of.
You don’t want to overuse this one. During a typical webinar promotion, we will send out a MAXIMUM of 5 or 6 messages.
We like to send text messages…
1 time the day before
2-3 times the day of
1 the next day to those who abandoned the cart.
#3 - Facebook Messenger
When people register for your webinar, you can get them to opt into receiving messages on Facebook Messenger. Usually on the thank you page, we offer them a freebie if they hit “allow” for Messenger.
Facebook messages are amazing. We’ve found that they have “the” highest open and click-through rates.
However, we use these messages way less than texting. The reason for that if you have a large Webinar, Facebook can get very finicky with the volume of messages going out. They’re known to ban you, so just use this sparingly.
#4 - Ringless Voicemail
Recently we discovered ringless voicemails and like them a lot. You can record an audio that goes straight to your registrant’s voicemail. They get a ping like any other voicemail.
We like to send a voicemail…
3 days before the webinar,
1 the day before the webinar,
Another an hour before the webinar,
Then, after the webinar is over, we will usually send a ring less voicemail to those who missed the webinar.
This feature ads a lot of “personal touch.” They get to hear your voice in their voicemail. It’s just yet another way to get in front of them.
All together we will send 3 or 4 of these during a Webinar campaign. Too many and it loses its value.
#5 - Animated FOMO MMS
FOMO = Fear of Missing Out.
MMS = A Text message with an IMAGE or GIF
This one is cool. Instead of a text message, send a GIF that shows them what they are missing.
For example, after a webinar we’ll send a GIF of 5 or so slides rotating, basically saying “here’s what you missed.”
We don’t send many of these. In a typical campaign we will maybe send 2 of them, and they will replace the text SMS’s I talked about earlier.
The webinar service we use, Aevent, uses NiftyImages to create these personalized images. This is another feature that can set you apart because I haven’t seen any marketers using these.
