Fine-Tuning 🛠️

Time to adjust with the data…

Good morning! A new report shows 69% of consumers plan to cut back on “nonessential spending” this year. Another 26% said they plan to keep spending at the same rate.

It’s not a huge surprise given inflation is still running 6.4% higher than this time last year.

But it’s an important reminder for all online entrepreneurs and freelancers to spend time FINE-TUNING their offers. When spending gets tight, the quality of your offer is more important than ever.

3 MORE Tips For Better Blogging

Yesterday, we dropped 5 incredible tips for making your blog content STAND OUT. If you missed it, check it out right here.

Today, we’re back and dropping 3 MORE expert tips you can QUICKLY use to improve the quality of your blog.

If you’re feeling “stuck” with your blog, or you just aren’t sure how to get it going, these 3 tips can make a massive difference.

We use them all the time!

#3 - Give Away Free Stuff

People love getting things for FREE.

The key is to give things away that are so valuable that people say to themselves, “If this is what I’m getting for free, what kind of amazingness do I get if I pay?” Of course, all of the content is free.

Just be sure to put out free content that is better than most people’s paid content. This will really impress the audience and keep them coming back. It will earn their loyalty and trust.

#2 - Use Writing & Design Resources

No one has to do it all alone when creating content!

There are professionals out there who can do a lot of the work. Freelance writers and designers can be hired for fair prices from sites like Upwork, Guru, iWriter, and Fiverr.

These people can do all the leg work of creating the content.

The key here is to leverage the talents and skills of experts.

#1 - Model Other Successful Sites

Learn from other people!

There is no need to reinvent the wheel. Read and watch other people’s videos to get inspiration and ideas. Piggyback off other people’s content. For example, write a blog post about a great article.

But add some original thoughts to the post to make it unique.

But NEVER copy another person’s work! This cannot be stressed enough.

Just allow the work of another person to inspire ideas and offer guidance and direction.

Meta Launches Its Own Paid Verification Program

First Twitter, now Meta.

The company just announced the launch of a new paid verification program for users and brands. They say it’s part of ongoing efforts to improve transparency and fight misinformation on its platform.

This program is designed to give users a way to verify their identities. For businesses, it's to verify their Pages, in order to help build trust and credibility with their followers.

Right now, the company is looking at pricing this at $11.99 per month on web or $14.99 per month on mobile.

For individual users, the verification badge will appear next to their name on their profile and on any comments they make on public posts. For businesses and organizations, the verification badge will appear on their Page, as well as on any comments they make on their own posts or on public posts.

Obviously, not everyone is happy with this change. But with so many businesses and individuals building their social marketing strategies around these platforms, there may not be much of a choice.
