3 Sites - Find Better Freelance Gigs
Looking to get started as a freelancer? Looking for better gigs?
Today, we’re bringing you 3 of our favorite freelancing sites for 2023.
Each of these sites has different pros and cons depending on what you’re looking for, but each one can get you set up quickly and help you start earning.
Let’s dig right in!
#3 - Outsourcely
Outsourcely is smaller than the others on this list, but it still offers a ton of opportunities. The site boasts over 400,000 freelancers currently.
Some of the biggest categories on the site are e-commerce, business coaching, media production, and software development.
One thing that’s different about Outsourcely is that many of the freelancers on the site are looking for longer-term employment.
Often you’ll see profiles of people looking for monthly contracts. If you’re looking for more than just a quick gig, this is the perfect site to use.
#2 - Upwork
Upwork is a huge name in the industry. It also offers an extremely wide range of freelance services.
Some of the biggest categories include design, IT work, and marketing. But there are more beginner services as well.
It’s also an open marketplace where you can post job ads and connect directly with employers.
Unlike sites like Fiverr, employers post jobs and freelancers apply for them. So you may be going up against other freelancers for certain positions.
But if you want to see what type of opportunities are out there, this is the site to use!
#1 - Fiverr
Fiverr is hands down the top resource for freelancers looking for paid gigs online.
What makes Fiverr different is the fact you can advertise your skills or side-gigs for as little as $5 a task.
Of course, you can also charge much more for your work. That works best when you’ve built up some reviews on your profile.
Once you’ve had your first few clients and gotten reviews, you can start bundling your services and upselling for more comprehensive work. That’s the BEST way to make solid income from Fiverr.
And you can post almost any job imaginable on the site. That’s the best part of Fiverr, you don’t need any experience or particular skill set to start making money.
If you’re just getting started, this could be your best resource!
Entrepreneur Stat Of The Day
80%
That’s the percentage of freelancers who said “Independence” was the biggest reason they chose freelancing, according to FreelancerMap.

Why Small Businesses Still Love Facebook
A new report indicates that Facebook remains the most essential platform for small businesses.
When asked which online platform was most critical for growth, 67% of respondents said Facebook. Meta’s other platform Instagram was close second with 64%. YouTube (63%), TikTok (43%), and LinkedIn (40%) rounded out the top 5.
Why This Matters:
This report coincides with the news that Facebook will be starting a new paid verification program imminently.
Critics have scoffed at Facebook charging for this service, but the proof is in the data. Most small businesses rely HEAVILY on Facebook for their growth. It’s hard to imagine they won’t pay for the verification.
