Meta is thinking about offering a version of Facebook and Instagram without ads for a monthly fee.
This idea comes because new E.U. rules make it hard for Meta to show users personalized ads.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Meta might offer an ad-free version for about $14 a month for Facebook or $17 a month for both Facebook and Instagram.
That’s higher than the $8/month for Twitter Blue, which was the first subscription program on a major social media platform.
Given the high cost, it's unclear if many users would be willing to pay this fee just to avoid ads.
Here’s the rundown for today…

How AI Is Transforming PPC Advertising
We’ve talked a lot about AI and how it can make you more productive. PPC advertising is one of many areas that’ve been impacted.
If you do PPC advertising, then it’s important to be aware of both the challenges AND the opportunities that AI creates.
The article is filled with interesting ideas from media buyers who are in the trenches every day experimenting with AI in their PPC campaigns.
To get started, here are 5 key takeaways from this article.
Generative AI in Marketing: Generative AI can help search marketers by making their tasks more efficient. For example, it can help create different ad versions or make lists of keywords for campaigns.
Using AI Doesn’t Mean No Human Input: Even with the help of AI, marketers still need to check the work. While AI can create a lot of content, it may not always be perfect for a brand. So, humans need to be there to guide it.
Training is Important: For AI to work well, it needs good information (or data) and proper training. If not trained well, the AI might give answers that aren’t very helpful. But if trained right, it can be a powerful tool.
AI Can Be Like an Assistant: Generative AI can assist companies with different tasks in their projects. But each company should find out how AI can help them in their unique way.
AI in the Future of Search Marketing: Even though some people might be doubtful about AI, it’s here to stay. Big companies like Google are adding more AI features. Marketers need to learn and adapt quickly to use these new tools effectively.
This is just a brief summary of each point. For more details, check out the full article.

Daily Hack - A Simple Way To Upgrade Your Funnels
One of the simplest, but most powerful ways to boost the conversion rates of your funnels is to pay attention to the NARRATIVE of your funnel.
The businesses that master the narrative will win the future. Those who understand what a narrative is and leverage it will profit hugely. Those who ignore narratives will lose money and customers.
What is the narrative? It’s the story, journey, and theme of your funnel. It’s how each part of the customer journey relates to every other part.
When you understand the narrative, you see the customer journey as a whole. And when you do this, you can make every part work together in the most ideal way.
Paying attention to the narrative makes your customer’s journey seamless, instead of a bumpy road of mismatched parts.
To create a good narrative in your funnel, you need to CONNECT your bump offer and upsells to what the person is thinking about as they’re purchasing.
What fears or doubts do they still have? What objections do they still have?
People almost always have some concerns before they buy something. Very few people are 100% confident and dive into something without second-guessing. Even after buying, people still have fears and doubts.
Within the objections that people might still have are HOOKS and ANGLES that you can use to sell bump offers and upsells.
Most objections stem from fear or doubt like…
“Will this really work for me?”
“Am I really going to be able to do it?”
“Will I stick to it?”
“Is it safe?”
“Is there any science to back it?”
“Will I be depriving myself?”
You can take any of those concerns as a hook for a bump offer, bonus or upsell. And it perfectly continues the narrative.
This could even apply to the backend offers. Even 90+ days after the purchase you can follow up with offers related to these concerns.
“Will this really work for me?” Give your program a 90-day money-back guarantee.
“Am I really going to be able to do it?” Lead with testimonials from real people like them.
“Will I stick to it? I’ve had trouble sticking to every other diet.” A mastermind group where members encourage and hold each other accountable.
“Is it safe?” Lead with science and testimonials.
“Is there any science to back it?” Cite studies.
“Will I be depriving myself?” Build bonuses around making their journey fun and interesting.
The best marketers, with the best results overall, will be the ones who master the narrative. Sure you can do some little tweaks and formulas here and there, but the narrative is one of the biggest levers for success.
