Conversion CPR šŸ©ŗ

+ YouTube changes link policy + treating burn-outā€¦

Happy Friday! One of the ways we love unwinding after a long week is spending some quality time with the family dog. Well, AI is ready to take that job too (kidding). This week, we stumbled upon an AI that can dogsit for you.

Everyone knows how much people spend on their pets, and this takes it to a whole new levelā€¦

A new smart device called ā€œCompanionā€ will now dogsit for $49 per month (no word yet on how much the device itself costs). No, this isnā€™t a joke - take a look for yourselfā€¦

Itā€™ll also dispense treats, monitor your dogā€™s health, and provide voice commands. šŸ¶

4 Tips: Revive A Poor Performing Offer

When something just isnā€™t converting - it can be maddening. Everything seems right, the offer looks good, but it just isnā€™t getting conversions like you thought.

Donā€™t worry - weā€™ve ALL been there.

Today, weā€™re going to cover 4 simple steps to take if you find yourself in this same situation.

#1 - Really Evaluate the Feedback

The first step when you discover your product is underperforming is examining the feedback

Really dive into it.

Youā€™re going to want to divorce yourself from the product while you do this. Donā€™t let the negativity get to you

Just keep in mind that people are leaving negative feedback because they want the product to be better. They also want to warn others to not waste their money - thatā€™s totally fair.

Take an unbiased look at what the feedback has to say, and take it into consideration before moving forward.

#2 - Make Changes Based on Feedback

Once youā€™ve really taken the feedback into consideration and gotten to the root of the issue, itā€™s time to make some changes.

Some products or offers really only have a few minor things wrong with them.

Maybe certain parts of the offer arenā€™t really as sexy as YOU think they are.  Maybe one piece of the course or training isnā€™t resonating.

Take the complaints into consideration, and figure out what tweaks you can make. Then, start making the changes until you believe you have the best product possible.

#3 - Test, Test, Test

Once youā€™ve made the tweaks, itā€™s time to test out the new version

There are a couple of ways you can do thisā€¦

The first way is to put the product/offer back on the market. This can be risky. You may end up getting more negative reviews and requests for refunds.

The other way you can test the new version is by reaching out to the people that were unhappy with the original version. Offer to send them a free replacement or upgrade with the new one.

From there, you can ask for feedback on the new version.

If there are still issues, you may need to go back and make changes again.

#4 - Face The Musicā€¦

Honestly, sometimes a product or offer is just a dud. If this is the case, you may just need to consider starting over.

This is especially the case if you donā€™t have control over the product.

If you've tweaked an offer over and over, and you still donā€™t get the conversion rates you want, your time may be better spent on a new offer.

Donā€™t get defeated. This happens to the best of us. And itā€™s just a natural part of being a marketer or entrepreneur.

Sometimes cutting your losses is the smartest move.
