The Only Prompt You Need For ChatGPT
Generative AI is one of the most exciting developments in the history of business. Now everyone has access to their very own personal assistant who can help them come up with ideas, overcome writer’s block and even create content & copy from scratch.
The most popular AI chatbot right now is ChatGPT.
To get the most out of any AI tool, you need to prompt it correctly. Like a person, it needs to be given clear instructions and feedback.
The better you get at prompting AI chatbots, the better the outputs you’ll get.
If you look around the internet, you’ll find lists of prompts. You actually don’t need them. In fact, all you need is ONE SINGLE PROMPT.
If you use this prompt, then you’ll be able to get ChatGPT to produce exactly what you’re looking for.
Basically all you need to do is ASK ChatGPT to create the prompt for you.
Here’s what that looks like, courtesy of Reddit…
“I want you to become my Prompt engineer. Your goal is to help me craft the best possible prompt for my needs.
The prompt will be used by you, ChatGPT. You will follow the following process:
1. Your first response will be to ask me what the prompt should be about. I will provide my answer, but we will need to improve it through continual iterations by going through the next steps.
2. Based on my input, you will generate 2 sections, a) Revised prompt (provide your rewritten prompt, it should be clear, concise, and easily understood by you), b) Questions (ask any relevant questions pertaining to what additional information is needed from me to improve the prompt).
3. We will continue this iterative process with me providing additional information to you and you updating the prompt in the Revised prompt section until I say we are done.”
All you have to do is copy and paste this prompt into ChatGPT. It’ll ask you what the prompt should be about, and then it’ll give you a prompt that it thinks will get you that result.
The best part is that after it gives you a suggestion, it’ll critique the prompt and ask you questions to make it better.
You can keep going until you get the prompt you want.
It’s a pretty simple prompt, but it can take your ChatGPT game to the next level. Give it a shot!
