ICYMI - He Used "Fast Decisions" to Build an Empire

If you missed this podcast episode, you absolutely HAVE to check it out.

According to Anik, Robby Blanchard has a super-power unlike anyone he’s ever met. He makes incredibly FAST decisions as an entrepreneur.

And he’s got this fast decision making down to a science. Now, don’t get us wrong, not every decision he makes is a 100% success - he is human after all.

But because he’s worked hard on this decision making process, he’s been able to build his company to roughly $40 million in sales in the last 3 years.

According to Robby, a big part of that success is owed to ONE decision he made along the way.

Robby dove deep into that specific decision on this week’s podcast, and how he’s turned decision making into one of his biggest strengths.

2 Ways to Market Your Freelance Business

You have what you think is the perfect freelance business.

  • You have your services lined up…

  • You created a portfolio…

  • You figured out the perfect price point…

But you’re struggling to get clients. Hey, we get it. This is one of the most common struggles for freelancers and marketers alike.

Today, we’re going to walk you through 2 simple methods you can take to start marketing your freelance services.

Remember: once you start getting clients and building reviews - getting more clients becomes easier and easier. So don’t get discouraged as you start.

Let’s jump right in!

#1 - Use The Resources On Freelance Sites

There are so many different sites for finding freelance work. Put them to use in your marketing!

Some of our favorites are…

  • Fiverr

  • Upwork

  • Guru.com

They have built-in tools that help you create a professional profile, biography, and even portfolio. Their whole mission is helping employers find freelancers (and vice versa), so they are perfect for getting started.

However, this should not be your only option if you plan on freelancing long-term. You’ll also want to market yourself independent of these sites.

That’s where this next tip comes in…

#2 - Invest In Your Own Website

Creating our own website is a MUST for a freelancer.

Don’t worry, you don't need a complex website. A lot of freelancers worry they need a big fancy site when getting started. But you really don’t need that when you are getting started.

Some of the best websites for freelancers are just ONE page.

They have a basic description of the freelancer, sections of a portfolio, some testimonials, and an area with contact information.

That's it!

Your own website gives you a great opportunity to develop your branding and really show off your portfolio. Think of it like a landing page - just like you’d see for any product or service.
