7 Apps For Boosting Productivity & Mindfulness

Struggling to stay focused? Feeling like your mountain of tasks just keeps getting bigger every single day? Did reading those last 2 sentences completely stress you out?

Well, you’ve come to the right place!

Today, we’re sharing 7 apps we love (and use) for boosting productivity, maintaining focus, and improving mindfulness.

If you’re an entrepreneur, freelancer, consultant or solopreneur, you need to give a few of these a try!

#1 - Loom

We love and use Loom here at Lurn every single day. It’s an excellent app for screen recording and video messaging.

It allows you to quickly record and share videos with your team members or clients. You can use it to explain complex ideas, give feedback, or showcase your work. We also love that it offers editing tools, so you can trim your videos and add captions.

#2 - Asana

This is another we couldn't live without. It’s a project management app that helps you keep track of tasks, deadlines, and team members. You can create tasks, assign them to team members, set due dates, and track progress.

Asana also offers a calendar view, so you can see all your tasks and deadlines in one place.

#3 - Slack

This is a messaging app that makes communication with your team members a breeze. You can create channels for specific topics, such as #design or #marketing.

You can also send direct messages to individuals or groups. Slack also offers integrations with other apps, such as Google Drive and Trello.

Lurn might grind to a halt without Slack, that’s how much we love it!

#4 - Trello

This is another project management app that uses a visual system of boards, lists, and cards. You can create boards for different projects and add cards for specific tasks.

You can also assign team members to cards, set due dates, and track progress. One big perk is it also offers integrations with other apps, such as Google Drive and Slack.

#5: Evernote

Here’s another one we use every day. It’s a note-taking app that allows you to capture ideas, web pages, and images. You can organize your notes into notebooks and tags. Evernote also offers a powerful search function, so you can quickly find what you need.

You can also share your notes with team members.

#6 - Headspace

Headspace is an app designed to boost mindfulness and reduce stress (which is something we could all use). It offers guided meditation sessions, breathing exercises, and sleep sounds.

You can use it to take a break from work, clear your mind, and improve your focus.

#7 - RescueTime

This is a time tracking app that helps you stay focused and productive. It tracks the time you spend on different apps and websites and provides you with a report at the end of the day. You can use it to identify time-wasting activities and adjust your work habits accordingly.

Whether you're looking to maintain focus, collaborate with team members, or boost mindfulness, these apps have got you covered.

Try them out and let us know which work best for you!

Google Adds Generative AI Into Multiple Platforms - Another day, another use case for generative AI. This time, it’s Google that’s including it in a bunch of platforms like Gmail, Docs, Slides, and even Sheets. The company announced a slew of new features, and most look pretty useful.
